About dei
Dei was “born” in 2005 and serves as a replacement for the bulletin board that used to be a feature of the Xisti site. While some features of the Xisti.com site are still available, the Forums are no longer in place.
Dei is a koiné Greek word which means “it is necessary”. It is a site where I comment on a number of issues of interest to me.
If you read Dei, it quickly becomes evident that I am a mother and grandmother; an independent voter and someone with a host of strong opinions. I hope that I am always open to reason and closed to demagoguery.
I like words and sometimes use some big ones, a habit I blame on my senior high English teacher. It’s all Mrs. Baker’s fault.
