Over and Out
I had to turn my back on a friend today. It made me sad. I feel like I am letting him down, but don’t think there is any other road to take. He is indulging in destructive behavior and will not or cannot see that it doesn’t help him. So I am giving him some tough love. I think it is hurting me more than him at the moment.
After posting this, I glanced at my ESV feed and saw:
Before destruction a man’s heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor. (Proverbs 18.12 ESV)
The word of the Lord is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Amen
