Congressional Relief Action Program
I heard this morning that passage of this bill will mean $9 billion in aid to Minnesotans. Admittedly, my higher math is a little rusty, but $9 billion is just a little more than 1% of this massive C.R.A.P. package. Assuming that all states are equal and that each state gets a similar amount, that still amounts to only about half of this package. Who gets the rest?
Oh, I forgot about the new green cars for the government fleet. Does that mean the president is getting a new green limo? But wait, didn’t they just buy him a new limo before the inauguration? Oh, and I forgot about all the long term sustainable jobs they are creating by re-sodding monuments in Washington D.C. ….
